Exciting news out of Australia for those of you suffering with Celiac disease (like me). Researchers there began clinical trials this month on an experimental vaccine designed to stop the auto-immune response to gluten for those suffering from the disease.
There are some other drug test being done but those are mostly just to supplement a gluten free diet incase you accidentally come into contact with gluten. However, this vaccine would actually eliminate the need for the diet.
Here’s to hoping for some successful results!
